" America's only Haunted High School "
" Wisconsin's Biggest Haunted Attraction "
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Answer 1: What is Haunted High?
The biggest haunted attraction building in Wisconsin and the only haunted high school in America, we think. It's 65,000 square feet of spooks, special effects and sheer terror housed in an old, deserted, really haunted school.

Permits you access to the Ghouls' Gym as much as you want plus one trip through The Haunt. Look for special "Lights On" group discounts. Offers can not be combined.

Groups of 30 or more may pre-order and pre-pay and receive discounts off each ticket. Tickets will be waiting for your group at Haunted High. Groups of 75 or more receive an AccelerationPass. Click here for full information. School Groups see Answer 5 below.
The "unofficial" address (a back driveway) is 550 E. Forest Street in Oconomowoc, WI, across from the current OconomowocHigh School. This building was most recently OconomowocMiddle School (before that, a Junior High and before that, a High School). Its street address is on Summit Avenue but you won't find the entrance that way. Please come to the back on Forest Street.
OPEF's!! What's an OPEF, you say? It's Oconomowoc Public Education Foundation. We raise funds in various ways to help improve our fantastic school district with private support.
All proceeds of Haunted High will go to the OPEF general fund. Annually, grants are awarded to teachers and staff for innovative and expansive education ideas, programs and materials.
Yes! The scare factor has been dramatically increased in 2010 through the talents of our Spookmaster team. We hope you survive. If you just can't take it, there are exits - but no money back.
There a plenty of stories. Students and Staff for years have heard things, felt movement, been scared to be there alone...even the Greater Milwaukee Paranormal Society is interested in Haunted High.
Answer 13: How do I get to be a scary actor (or another "job" there)?
Use our Online Volunteer Registration System!. Fill out your Volunteer Profile fully and select all the events (sessions) you can commit to. If you need to change anything between now and when you work, return to the Site, login, and make your own changes. Our scary system will be in touch with you! Volunteers must be ages 16 and above to be automatically confirmed. If you are ages 14 or 15, HH Management will need to approve you based on: previous experience with Haunted High and/or acting experience, OR if your parent works the same shift, you will be approved.”
We should have plenty. Watch for signs and please follow the directions of our attendants. If we fill up Haunted High's property, parking overflows to the north lot of our local high school. All volunteers and workers are asked to park there.
Answer 14: If it's my school's "night", what does that mean?
Most likely, it means that a major club at your school spread the word around your school about Haunted High., and a portion of your ticket price will go back to your schools group as a fundraiser.
Answer 15: How old do I need to be, to be a “victim” (customer) at Haunted High?
At least 10. But if you are ages 10 - 13, you must have a parent or guardian with you (one parent can accompany a few kids). If you are 14 or older, you may enter Haunted High yourself...if you dare.
Answer 16: Is there somewhere to wait if I get too scared at the last minute?
Yes. Ghouls' Gym is very large. You may wait there. And if you get scared partway through Haunted High, you may exit the school and return to Ghouls' Gym.
No worries. Haunted High's activities are ALL indoor. Ticketing, food, merchandise and entertainment, as well as just mingling with all the other ghouls and goblins is all in Ghouls' Gym.
Answer 19: What other activities are going on at Haunted High?
There will be food and drinks (no alcohol - this is a school!), ghastly accessories, and horror entertainment. In our nightmares, we're still creating more activities - just wait!
